This photograph is the lead image from a documentation involving an immigrant barber and his multi-generational customers, many of whom had been coming to Tony for decades.Tony the Barber cut hair for 80 years in his barbershop located in the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh, PA. He started when he was 16 years of age and died the last day he worked, November 7, 2014. He was 95 years old. I am currently working on a book from this series and continue to exhibit images from it as well
